About the Chairman

Chairman Shangbu Bhote (Lhomi) is a passionate advocate dedicated and visionary leader to the flourishing of ethnic communities in the Himalayan region. With a profound understanding of cultural heritage anda passion for holistic development, Shangbu plays a pivotal role in advancing initiatives that foster equality, education, and sustainability among underserved populations.Shangbu Lhomi holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Tribhuvan University Kathmandu, Nepal and gained 9 years of experience as a government teacher in his hometown. In addition to his teaching career, Shangbu served as a Campus Chief, founder principal for two years, in Arunodaya Higher Secondary School, Lingam, Chepuwa. His commitment to social development spans 17 years of active involvement in various social organizations, reflecting his dedication to community empowerment and upliftment. Shangbu is also a prominent figure in the world of sports, serving as a District Member of the Archery Association of Sankhuwasabha district Archery Association, and a Member of the Koshi Province Archery Association. His role in these associations highlights his enthusiasm for preserving and promoting traditional sports while contributing to the broader athletic community.
